GENERAL CARE AND KEEPING
Remove jewelry when bathing, exercising, or cleaning. Always avoid excess moisture, and remember to store your pieces properly in an airtight container when you aren't wearing them. It is normal for metal to oxidize (or change color) with time and exposure to the elements, but contact with liquid or other substances can expedite this process.

STERLING SILVER
Gently polish with a jewelry polishing cloth to bring sterling silver and brass pieces back to their original state of lustre.

BRASS
Brass is commonly known to turn skin green. Different people have varying reactions to this type of metal. It is a chemical reaction to your particular skin, lotions, moisture (even sweat!) and/or other environmental factors. To slow this process, you can keep your brass pieces polished, away from moisture, and stored properly in an airtight container when you aren't wearing them. Another useful trick is to coat the inside of brass rings with clear nail polish.

GOLD PLATED
Gently clean with mild dish soap and a soft brush but please do not polish! Gold vermeil is a thick gold plating that can actually be removed with polishing. Once completely dry, store your pieces in an airtight container to avoid oxidization

GEMSTONES
Gently clean with mild dish soap and a soft brush. All of our gemstones are high quality natural, mineral stones that can be delicate and broken if not cared for correctly.

PEARLS
Wipe with a soft cotton cloth. Pearls are very soft and can be subject to scratching. We highly recommend putting on pearls after applying hairspray, perfume, or other cosmetics, as they are especially sensitive to chemical contact.
